Which one to keep?

So I just acquired these. One will go, one will stay.... but I can't decide which!

Top is a Benelli M1 Super 90 Tactical. 5+1 12ga. zombie blaster. If I keep it, it'll get a mag tube extension for 6+1

Lower is a Colt 6450 9mm upper on a Sabre Defense lower. If it stays, it's getting a Magpul CTR collapsible stock. I might just spring for an SBR stamp and get a 10" barrel so it'll end up looking like this guy

Thinking the AR would be a bit more practical/versatile, but I could use a good shotty too.

Tough one. I'll be the odd man out. Keep the AR. If shit ever gets banned it will be the AR, will always be able to have shotguns. On the other hand you can probably get more use out of the shotgun (sporting clays). Yes, this reply does not help you decide, I know LOL!!!

Sporting clays/trap/skeet would be fun, though I'm not sure an 18" "tactical" 12ga is really ideal for that.

While I hate the idea of a 9mm AR, if you're going to SBR it, I'd say go that route. You will need to drop that thing like a bad habit should you ever move back here though (something I know you're aware of, I'm just explaining my logic), which does suck. Not going the SBR route, keep the M1, going the SBR route, I'd still drop the 9mm and get a real 5.56... or maybe a 10mm...

I'd get a proper 5.56 upper for it, for sure. It'd be nice to be able to practice with the rifle at ranges that don't allow centerfire rifle, like the two gun clubs near me. Thinking it be a good training tool for that reason. For actual applications, I'm not really a pistol-caliber carbine fan, either.

BTW, I swapped out my G20 for a 17, so 9mm would preserve ammo commonality.

Keep the S90.

I happen to like pistol caliber carbines, but prefer my PC9 to the AR 9mm platform.

Not a fan of the auto-action shotgun anymore. The one I had started jamming up all the time.

I don't know if you are even considering moving but just remember an SBR will be a bit harder to sell especialy out of state cause of the tax stamp deal.

Let me know which one you keep and toss I might be interested in one.

My opinion, if you already got a good scatter gun keep the AR. Invest in an SWR can and a threaded barrel for the glock and then go suppresed on both. Dump the shotgun and use that money for the can.

Also, consider what mag block is in the 9mm ar. If it will be a pain in the ass to swap out to go to .223 then a pain in the ass isnt worth having either.

Arrogance has to be earned.

Benelii is gone. Traded it for this guy and a big heap of cash. Brand spankin' new Remington 870 with a little taclight.

I've loved the 870s since I toted one around for the Corps. This thing is much nicer than the beat to shit 870s/590s we had then. Kicks harder than the Benelli, though. I was surprised at how soft a shooter it was. That inertial system really soaked up a good amount of energy.

now I think I want to get another for trap and such.

CArried these things and ran all kinds of crazy drills. I don't give a fuck what larry the mall ninja cable guy or your homo ass has to say, I know these 870 work no matter what. And the big pile o $$$$$$ doesn't hurt either. I'm hearing from some of my guys that were/are in the sandbox are ditching their high-speed, low drag M4 benellis for their old 870s.
