Thanks , couldn't help but to pull out the bb to look it up. Very nice, looks just like my 9mm. I know alot of folks were waiting for the 45 to come out in the m, so I am sure the price tag will be nice too.

I'm curious to know why they can fit 19+1 rounds of 9mm in their XDm which is 2 more than a Glock 17 and yet this pistol is the same capacity as a G21. It is a very handsome poly pistol but I have zero interest in anything aside from 9mm/10mm (9mm can be found everywhere and 10mm Auto is the greatest pistol caliber EVAR.) in a pistol.

Smartdrug, just curious, if you have 0 interest in this pistol, as you say. Why are you posting in this thread? Seems to me your interest is not 0, maybe it's like a 2 or a 17.5, cause your obviously interested enough to converse with the rest of us regarding said pistol. You may need to work in your interest scale and adjust it accordingly

I LOVE the XD9m, this is close enough to cause some curiosity on my end. I don't like .45 ACP as a round but then again, I can tune a .45 1911 in my sleep now. Just because I don't like the round, doesn't mean I don't like the piece.

I'm not a fan of V-twins either but I own one and wouldn't turn down a 1125CR given the right opportunity.

I like guns, regardless of whether I would own one in a certain caliber, I still want to learn about it.

It's not like I'm hating on the thing:

I like the XDm's. Good to see they finally came out with a 45.
I would LOVE to see a 10mm version of this, and the M&P.
I like Glocks, have owned more than a few, and still am a GSSF member, but I think Springfield and S&W have really upped the ante in the polymer market. I'd love to see those improvements carry over into the 10mm realm.

Are they really taking 10mm seriously though? And does anyone worry about a polymer 10mm? I'm not knocking them, I love 10mm and .357 SIG. I fully believe polymer is strong enough to handle those rounds, but the Joe Sixpack probably wouldn't trust a "plastic gun and oddball round".

Joe Sixpack also like MORE POWER!
The Glock 20 is probably the best and most robust 10mm ever made. The Colt Delta's had some frame cracking issues, and the S&W 1006 had some problems too, IIRC.
I am interested to try out the new VLTOR Fortis/Bren Ten thing, if it ever gets to market.

FWIW, Ted Nugent carries a Glock 20. If anyone carries any cred whatsoever with gun owning Joe Sixpack, it's him.
