Anyone seen this in person or heard anything about it yet? It certainly looks the business!

I'm seeing online for about $550 out the door.

Yeah, but some are real turds. Brianne has the S&W 15-22, which got rave reviews, but hers has been a problem child. We might want to try something different. My buddies S&W 15-22 on the other hand is probably about 2 MOA accurate...which IMHO is pretty damn good for a cheap .22!

i have the old Bushmaster 22 upper kit that works with a real lower of your choice, they got terrible reviews and mine gave me problems at first, but now that i figured it out i would buy every one i could find, the mags it comes with suck and thats most of the problem, but a Black Dog mag for the navy trainer (not the ceiner one) with some mods works great, and i made a feed ramp with a dremel tool at the bottom of the chamber, add some federal bulk pack and its quite reliable, not so much with rem or CCI stuff

I find it insulting that HK will not sell civilians true 416's but find it OK to pawn off .22 knock offs of it made by an airgun company. Do not approve of HK's tactics by suporting them with the purchase of this licensed item. If the civi market is good enough to sell too then the entire line up should be available.

Arrogance has to be earned.

I have a friend with one. He got it when his neighbor died on his bike. It seemed like a nice "toy". There seem to be better choices.

There is nothing firm, nothing balanced, nothing durable in all the universe. Nothing remains in its original state, each day, each hour, each moment, there is change. Change is the essence of life. Embrace change as you do life. To fight change is to live in the past.

Meh, get a cheap AR with a .22lr kit, have it do double duty as a zombie gun/plinker.

Ewwwww.....handled one of the Colt .22's. The fake AR controls on it really turned me off, and stripping it is said to be a pita. The S&W .22's are much closer to an AR, but I do wish they would have made it in alloy (not zinc...) and not plastic. They had some bugs, but the fellas on the rimfire board love 'em and they are made in the US.

And WTF does any of that have *anything* to do with an AR-15 trainer?

Nothing..... but you were not specific in your request so rather than
comment on AR-15 trainers I defaulted to high quality, reliable, accurate 22's.

Not what you wanted ? Move along.
