Looking for a ar-15 gunsmith

Need some help removing my dpms front sight gas block. I know this is a basic procedure but the pins are being a pain. Anyone in the south suburbs?

Isn't there a qualified AR 15 Armorer on this site?

I seem to recall a thread about the work he does.

I'm an armorer. You can buy a front sight bench block from brownells pretty cheap.

Yeah. I have been meaning to get this gas block replaced for a while. The pins are supposed to come out left to right. I called dpms and they said theirs are opposite (right to left). The pin heads are damaged now so I might just drill them out. Thanks Ponch and PaleHorse for the offer. I am close to montgomery often. PaleHorse, any chance I can swing out and have you take a look this Friday evening?

Remember when you switch to the block that you need to us the tiny retaining pin that holds in the gastube or you have bolt operated AR.
