Rabbit hunting on my recent Kansas trip (pictures of dead animals inside) NWS?

went to Kansas recently and did some hunting while i was there. 1st few days was checking out the area with my plinkers and scored some cotton tails and then after i saw a couple Jack Rabbits well i just had to get one!!

man i tell ya the WILD rabbits can run like a mutha!!

also borrowed a shotgun to do some pheasant hunting but the weather turned really cold so i said screw it and decided to stay warm since i caught a bad cold. fun times.

a few cotton tails all shot while they hauled ass out of cover, double tapped a few and a couple head shots..man i love my Ruger TNZ 22LR

then after seeing a couple jack rabbits i went out hunting them with my Savage 17HMR and nailed this bad boy in the chest!

we ate a few cotton tails (tasty)

the jack rabbit i took his pelt, and gave the meat to a local farmer to grind up with some other meats since jacks are really game tasting.

cabellas probably has something similar. There's a nice one in richfield (just outside of mke on 41 N) if you ever make it to WI, gigantic, and we found more than one Christmas present there.

this was just a mid of the line outfit a few hundo, mainly fair weather gear but the lowers are over all's then the jacket goes over. water resistant, normal wear spot reinforced, breathable, and the size allows warmer clothes to be layered underneath. i really like it, plus the material is semi slick so thorn bushes and those sticker bushes dont grab on the material.
