New biz is coming to fruition

Hokay, So you guys may have seen my FFL post.

Things are progressing with the FFL application and as I told my partner, as long as they don't see my posts from CLSB it should be fine
Our distributor list is growing and we are starting to stock products.

Our business model isn't set in stone yet but we will not be another drop in the pond business. Depending on the course of the river you may even see us begin to manufacture our own components for Saiga12s and ARs.

We aim to carry only high end unique products so if you are looking for a better deal on something cheap that walmart carries, I don't/wont have it.

One aspect of the business model we do plan on maintaining from the other company is focusing on 80% information 20% sales. If you have any suggestions or critiques I always appreciate it.

We are still putting the site together but you can check it out at

Proofread.

Also use ONLY real names with aliases in parens. Looks horribly unprofessional for you to mix aliases & real names.

Given the order of your header nav, it is difficult to accertain what the hell you even are. Are you a blog? Are you a vendor? Most important things should be to the left - so if you're supposed to be a vendor, then why are your Products listings shoved way to the right?

On Chrome & IE8, there's TONS of white space above your rather small logo. Tighten that shit up & make your logo larger.

It's the same tactic we used for RLL. Be a destination for information, 95% and 5% sales, then maintain level of information and knowledge and then increase the sales percentage over time as funds allow an increase in inventory.

I've never actually seen that website. You've never directed it to me before, much less told me about its existence.

Just pulled it up in Chrome... tell me, why the FUCK is it telling me that there are viewing issues with IE 9, when I'm using fucking Chrome? Seriously - that's BASIC browser detection Javascript FAIL.

SHOP & your search icon are also overlapping one another, on the OP of 'SHOP.'

Major issues IT can't correct so dumping the site and redoing the whole thing.
People ignore the browser recommendation pops ups so this is a more direct approach to tell them to use a different browser.

Except that you're telling people who do NOT have IE the same stupid thing. My point is to use browser detection to hide it. Sorry, but the current implementation is amateurish & lazy.

Dude, stop holding back and just tell him how you really feel about it.

Seriously though, thanks for the suggestions. I'm often Mr Negative when Rick shows me something, mostly because I figure if I look at it the worst way possible, he can only make it that much better.

I click to a different site when sites do that. Dont care if the web site owner has issues with whichever browser.

I'm not crazy, my mother had me tested.
