Brass for Sale/Trade

Updated:

I started cleaning up my reloading bench (meant to do this at the beginning of winter!) and I found I have a crapton more brass than I thought.

I'd prefer trades, but if someone wants to toss me some cash, I'm down for that as well.

What I have -

100 Pieces of 6.8 SPC - Cleaned and ready. Has military crimp that I could easily remove - $30

500 Pieces .357 SIG brass - All one headstamp, no nickle, no steel. Fully processed and ready to go - $50

1000 Pieces .40 S&w brass - Mixed headstamp, no nickle, no steel. Fully processed. SOLD

500 Pieces .223 - Mixed Headstamp - Crimps removed - Primer pocket and flash hole uniformed. $50

If you've not picked up brass from me before, I'm nutty about my processing. All brass goes through a three stage cleaning process. My brass is as clean as new! I used to process and sell thousands of pieces of brass every winter, but my sources dried up when scrap brass started being worth more than reloading brass (if that makes sense). So this may be the last of it unless I find a new source.

Looking for in trade:

Quality single headstamp .45 brass and/or projectiles
Match/Competition .308 brass and/or projectiles
50 AE Brass/Projectiles/Dies
Steel Targets
I could also use a steel cabinet (with doors) with strong shelves

That's what all the boys say.

Save your .300 Blackout and .458 and I'll show you how I process.

Those are good prices for very clean and sorted brass, too bad I don't need any of those calibers.

What do you need Ryan?

I'm looking for leads to buy brass to process. I'd love to go back into full swing again if I can find a good source.

I reload .45acp, .44mag, and .38spl. I'm actually pretty good on brass right now but if you were selling any of those I'd probably pick some up just to hoard some more.

I might have some .38 special, though probably only a couple hundred. Lots of Nickel ones too. Probably not enough to make a trip worth it, but I might be coming your way for a new serpentine belt on the Scion. The last one that was installed slips and squeaks a lot and is pissing me off. Cheap parts.

I do a walnut media to clean them, then I resize and deprime. Then follow with corncob media (large enough that it doesn't get stuck in the flash hole) with an ammonia free brass cleaner. I'm also experimenting with washing the brass, which is how that batch got so nice looking, but I'm not 100% sold on washing since all it does it make it shiny and not really clean them up much more than tumbling.

I'm working on breaking away from that three stage process and trying out wet tumbling with stainless steel media (small pins). This would combine two of my three cleaning stages, plus make the primer pockets and inside of the cases perfectly spotless (literally like new again).

Photos of the .223 processing are in my gallery here:

http://lonelyraven.zenfolio.com/p882343013

You can see the before and afters. Only the very most tarnished stuff doesn't come out looking like new, but is still perfectly useable. Some of the .223 I got was buried for a couple decades and came out dark, but perfectly clean.
