Walgreens and Squirt Guns..

http://www.wgntv.com/news/wgntv-walg...,2214113.story

The effort to get toy guns out of Easter baskets has paid off for Fr. Michael Pfleger of St. Sabina’s Catholic Church.

TheChicago Sun-Timesreports, many Chicago area Walgreens stores have pulled the baskets with plastic water guns or Nerf dart shooters, off their shelves.

Pfleger also sent a letter to Kmart asking stores to stop selling the baskets. The retailer says the baskets will not be removed this year, but toy guns will be excluded in the future.

Pfleger says toy guns are no longer appropriate for a generation plagued by rampant gun violence.Report:

Now I wouldn't do this, nor would I suggest this but theoretically if one was to say toss a bomb made of household cleaners into the middle of one of his protest, do you think he would ask Walgreens and K-Mart to remove household cleaners?

No, but he would ask the internets to censor any links that provide information on how to make a house hold cleaner bomb thingy.

That's dangerous stuff right there. We shouldn't need to learn that anyways, computers can do everything for us now

IMO it's just another effort to keep himself in the news since his whole excommunication thing wore off. Why not work at educating the kids. Plus as the Iron Law of Prohibition goes. If you ban something I will make it or make it stronger or I will still find it but find more of it.

You wanna see my itinerary?

well, I kinda agree with this - toy guns are not needed, they are useless - I got my 10-years-old couple real ones and he is loving it!
