need to borrow barrel vice for the weekend

a friend needs halp installing battlecomp instead of birdcage on his AR.

I have upper vise block, but no barrel vise and would like to use it instead of twisting the barrel in the upper.

who can help me?

Where does he live? If he is located near me just come over and I can set you up in a second. I'm in Elgin just off of 20 west of Randall Rd. I would say come pick them up, but if you are going to come out here just bring him, the rifle and the battlecomp.

thanks, I will PM you - at this time thinking om making one with 2 pieces of hardwood and bench vise

I did this with two ARs 3 years ago as long as you don't "touch" anything else but the barrel.
