AR optics options?

Looking to get some new accessories for my AR. Just had some ?'s. Do they make a .223/5.56 specific scope. I know they do for .22. I currently have a POS scope on it and looking to upgrade. I also have a sight mark reddot that I am using on my AK and would like to keep it but wondering if a reddot and magnifier is a better option to go with. I like sight marks reddot but i hear mixed reviews and pairing it with their magnifier. That the 2 don't align right. I'm not looking to drop $500 on eotech. Just looking for something in a decent price range not to break the bank but still have a good sight picture. Any help would be great

Two clarification questions:

1. What's your budget?
2. Magnification or no magnification? Or rather, do you want a scope for long range shooting, or a holo-sight for closer range work?

Budget is around $250. Looking for shooting around 50-250yrds. Magnified if possible. Looking to use it more for long range per say. Scope is really the way I would like to go

Any of these will work.....its the shooter not the scope at the distances you are shooting at.

I mounted a Barska scope on my 8mm, I love the thing, this is what I would use.

Primary Arms - best bang for a buck - Chinese made, so not expensive, but with US QC and the company stands behind the product - great service and warranty

I have their microdot - it survived all I could throw at it including 1500 fps 12ga slugs and I have their 4-16x44 scope on my AR-10 - great deal at $250 with the mount -

I use a Bushnell Banner 3X9 40mm on my AR. Works great. Was $150ish I think. Had it since 99/2000

I'm not crazy, my mother had me tested.
