WEEEEE its here! Sr-90

well got it in the other day, fired 500 rounds threw it, and holy SHIT my arm feels like raw meat, i am such a pussy.

anyway, MAJOR kudos!
got it set up tits more then i need but when i get good enough for 1000 yard shots i got the equipment to do it, THATS FOR SURE.

anyway its a robar SR-90 with fluted barrel, custom this and that bla bla bla.
had leupold mark 4 base and rings mounted and a leupold mark 4 M1 10x40mm installed, came with sun sheild and scope covers, got robars tripod (which feels weird to me, but its a full axis swivel, picked up a pelican case for it, and its cool too, i got this cool torque driver that came with the rifle to make sure everything is in torque.

all i can say is the wife is pissed how much i spent, but the heck with it, i deserve it!

heres a couple pics.

i was only shooting at 100 yards sighting it in then getting use to the trigger, its only like 2.5 pound break, with a crisp trigger, made holding on target a real breeze!

other then that once i mounted this baby, best shots were under .5 @100 some rounds were touching thats when i was doing it PERFECT touching holes, looked like a pair of glasses...lol

the worste was 3 inchs but thats when it was getting tierd and sore, and getting dark and windyier...i started to fall apart.

but this thing is a pin hole puncher! @100 no problem.

i am kinda use to my variable 12 power scope on my ruger 10/22 and for a 1200.00 scope on this thing, cause they say its the best, well i gotta to admit, it is a killer optic! but i gotta get use to being fixed at 10 power but hey if they are making 1000 yard head shots with it, so should i in time.

i got so carried away shooting thank god i had visine, my eyes were getting sucked out.

.308? PUSSY caliber.

Try 500 rounds of .300WIN MAG. D

Hell I have to load my own since at $35 box of 20 it gets REAL pricey for the CHEAP stuff.D I use 180gn Nosler ballistic tip boattails with 73grains of Hodgon H4831. Hell 5 rounds and its kicking your ass.D

When I can come down and shoot at buffalo with you guys next year KEn, I'll let you play with my 700ADL.D

I'm not crazy, my mother had me tested.

Looking at your rifle Ken, I notice the receiver, bolt and trigger on the Robar looks ALOT like my Rem 700's receiver, bolt and trigger.D Other than the stock.D

I'm not crazy, my mother had me tested.

guess what smarty, thats cause it is...lol

robar is a custom builder based on certain action parts, its a rem 700 reciever and tigger reworked and custom milled for everything else. custom bore, custom matching, ramp feed, and breach, etc, etc, bla bla bla.

but to sum it up, this and a rem700 the rem will get its ass handed to it, shot for shot.

Beautiful!!!!

Gee was that weapon a "recommendation"? Ya know i believe i saw one of those before i just cant remember where??

Does the cheek rest give a nice alignment? How is the eye relief? Thats my biggest problem on a scope. They have a new custom cheek rest with a gel type or foam which cradles yours bone and feels oh so nice. That is often over looked by my many but i feel a nice rest is a must for long hours on a stock.

Ken you have outdone yourself! That is purely a thing of beauty and a breathe of fresh air..................
