I can't believe the NRA backed this. Does anyone believe this will help anyone but the turds that can Now by law shoot at police?

Pretty sure law or not, it's a bad idea to shoot at police. If I ever move to Indiana, I will not be trying out the new law.

As much as I don't think this is right and the fact that I would probably never attempt to shoot a cop, the way I see it is at least the state is giving their people the right. Truth be told laws are there so police can't just enter your home. Again it is your right to protect yourself.

Lets be honest here. If you shot a cop in your home, his backup is probably gonna kill you and write it up like its your fault

Why should the people have that "right"? Laws are there to protect people and keep order not keep police out of someone's home.

im not saying I agree with it. And FYI my family is all police. What im saying is that just because they are the police doesnt make them above the law or give them the right either. its a catch 22. Not everyone is honest. There are more then enough corrupt police. Look at the statement above perfect example their partner will just shoot you and change the story. I dont agree with shooting anyone, but if it came to protecting my family from anyone including a police officer I WOULD. Truth be told I don't have to worry because I'm not a shitbird. And for the criminals that are going to try and use this it will not work because the police will more than likely have probable cause. So think of it as a benefit to the law only let's them use force with to explain.

Those laws are also to protect citizens from police. Laws are set in place to protect everyone not allow free rain for police or government.
