When we went this last weekend, we spent all day doing nothing but pistols and easily went through a couple hundred rounds.

Bringing *everything* isn't a good idea. We should focus on one or two things unless you're just doing show and tell.

I understand that for education value, we should concentrate on something, but I am also bringing a friend who is not a shooter for entertainment value for him, so I would like to introduce him to the wider range or weapons, while working on something more closely than others, maybe something like 1-2 hours of "free" format, and the rest is structured educational work.

I can always may be take him to other side of the range for an hour and do "his thing"

As long as its with an ASC member, guests have to shoot next to a member like babysitting because the member is liable etc etc.

ok, so what is the proposed area or concentration?
handguns?
rifles?
shotty's?
SA action shooting?
C&R enactment?

I can participate in all of it?

anything I can contribute to the setup? I have couple 8" AR500 steel gongs, and hanging hardware, but don't have target stands or time to build them this week

I can bring some IDPA targets probably if they sell them on amazon, I used to cut them up myself, but ran out of carton

damnit... can I go next time? I want to come out, but if I went shooting instead of helping my girlfriend move (post surgery or not) she'll never forgive me.

well. looks like after I started all the commotion, I have to bail out my friend got family event that he can't miss on Saturday morning and will not be available till noon, and then he has something at 4 - with 1:15 drive - it will leave me less than 2 hours shooting, so I will take him to Article II instead.

I am dissappointed as hell was looking forward so much to this event

So tell your friend GFY. After all, his obligations screwed your plans so ditch him.

So who's still in, and what do you want to shoot?

I need to know so I can load the ammo for it.

I've been so busy processing brass for others, I've not had time to make anything up for myself.

If it's only us members going, I'd like to do long distance rifle since I need to do a ladder test for my .308 and .223

I'm out for now due to the rain. I was able to get out this week and qualify for the 600. Pretty awesome. Actually hit the bullseye with a 5 rd group. Can't believe my rounds drop about 90 inches at 600 yds!
