I heard that he was helping a friend with PTSD, and another guy, a Marine that knew them both murdered them and ran off with Chris' truck.

Yeah, that boss from FPS Russia was tied up and assassinated, Noveske dies in a car accident, and now this.

It could just be that we're paying attention, but it does seem odd.

I wonder if these guys are on the hit list ? Like Jethro Gibbs says , ''there are no coincidences'' . I am sure we are paying attention , but when was the last time something like this happened ? I am removed from the gun industry , but still notice these things .

Yeah The Blaze actually broke the story last night around midnight. I must say that not a lot of things bother me and I've seen a lot of dead people but this one was a gut shot right to the stomach.

Here's one link.....The Blaze actually has other articles and several videos on Chris from interviews. Didn't know that he actually punched Jess Ventura in face in a bar and knocked him down with one punch a few years ago!

http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2013...hooting-lodge/

Chris got out of the Seals after his wife finally gave him an ultimatum to come home to his family. He had only seen his wife and 2 kids a total of 6 months in 3 years.

Chris and his neighbor were volunteering to help out a former Marine that had been struggling with PTSD....they were a lodge in TX where Chris Kyle does a lot of his training....the guy turned a handgun on them both and then took off in Chris' dually.

Chris Kyle was a true stud and hero....they say he had 160 confirmed kills but I read where the number was really 255 kills.

Straight shooter that told it how it was.....anybody read his book? I definitely want to get it now.

It's funny how The Blaze had photos of the accident from chase on the website last night and had already posted the connection to the gunman as being a former Marine they were helping that was suffereing from PTSD.

Fast forward to today....MSN.com posted an article this morning with video stating that they had didn't have any information regarding a connection with the shooter....hello. Nothing like a little selective news coverage. Finally this afternoon they posted info from the interview with a guy from Chris' non-profit for helping soldiers.

You know the anti-gun people are going to be running their mouths on how we need to stop all veterans who suffer from PTSD from owning guns. My neighbor is an Iraqi war vet...retired from the Army and went out on disability after getting blown up from an IED. Cool dude...he has to go to the Vet office every so often to show them he hasn't gone off the reservation.

I read his book. It was a good read and He mentioned his worried wife multiple times throughout the book. Read it you'll enjoy it.

I read the book about 6 months ago. I was looking for him at the Shot Show without luck. He was the only guy I really wanted to meet there.

Here's a link of you guys want to donate to his family.

100% of the proceeds go to his family and his nonprofit...FITCO. If you don't want to donate $20, you can donate whatever you want. Apparently, Chris Kyle didn't take a dime from his American Sniper book and donated all of the proceeds from it.

I think this is a great opportunity to give back to a great american hero...when I donated yesterday they were only at 47K
