New gun for me!

After 3 weeks of waiting (repeated failed backgrounds do to name error on part of lovely Colorado Bureau of Investigations) I finally picked up my Gen 4 Glock 35 tonight and had them put on Warren Tactical Sevigny competition sites. I hope to get a chance to put it through the paces monday.

Is that on a particular caliber or all? I have XDM in 9mm and it has been pretty reliable. (knock on wood) I am by no means a glock hater. I just chose the XDM because it felt better in my hand, but I like the triggers better on glocks.

I nearly spit out my coffee:

The one in front, I stopped counting after 25k rounds.
The one in the middle, I've fired 5+k of .40, 2k+of .357 SIG, and some 9mm with a conversion barrel.
The one in the rear is one of the up-and-comers in the competition since it costs only $750 and is 90% of the way to being a high end competition pistol.

After 35k+ rounds through several Glocks I have owned over the years, I have yet one to jam due to a problem with the weapon. Nice score, hope you like it.

Finally got a chance to run it. 250 rounds through it with zero issues. time to pimp it out with a magwell and an extended mag release. The stock mag release is really my only complaint, it's a bitch to get to... and before anyone says I have girly hands I wear a XL glove.

Yeah, common problem on my 1911 and XD as well with the mag release. I end up hitting it with my non-dominant thumb (left hand for me), as I move my grip and start for another magazine. Probably not the correct way, but it works for me.
