Yeah....
this is adding up quickly! I still want to buy this stuff though, in case I can't later!!!

I think the worst part is buying it all from different places as it comes up and paying for shipping everytime.

btw...I found a blk Magpul STR mill spec stock at Midway.com if you anyone was looking for one of those

My thoughts exactly. But it's sounding like even Magpul can't get them in any large quantities right now. I've been on the E-mail alert for STR with Buffer tube combo since December, haven't heard a peep from any of my vendors.

Hell, I'd even be fine with the MOE, just so I have *something*.

I hope this stuff cools down soon. I'd much rather *everyone* have access to parts and ammunition than just those with big bank accounts and a fast internet connection. Hell, someone sent me a link to the only .223 they could find in bulk the other day...basic Federal .223 was going for $900+ for 1000 round box!

I actually don't think they are going to get any kind meaningful ban in place. But I'll pay up some for the "just in case" scenario. I'm still glad I'm doing this now. Kinda opening my eyes some to this market again. When I get a little further along with securing what I need for this build I think I'm going to purchase some things on backorder. That way, if I want to build something else later I'll have the parts at a decent price. If not, or they get some kind of ban through, I can always unload it.

I ordered a Magpul CTR stock kit with all the buffer stuff on backorder a week or so ago and got word yesterday that it's on it's way. Should be here tomorrow. Check DSG Arms, they still have the pricing you guys mentioned, but doesn't include the free shipping.

Remember boys. They are having one hell of a time trying to rewrite the 2nd amendment. In the mean time. Supplies, ammo, and everything to utilize your firearm will be in such demand that the government will adsorb most it all to keep it from publics grab.

From the side line. The government is winning on unarming America.

Soon those carbines will make fancy basebal bats.

Sequester should put a stop to govt buying. In the meantime, the public has become more armed than ever before, and the NRA has never been stronger. I don't see how tehy win this one.

hmmm I just got in on a 100k round 5.56 group buy. Delivery in March. $370 per 1000 rounds of either 55gr or 62gr, lake city brass. Would have passed it along to you guys but I caught it at the very tail end. Scrapped just enough money together to get in for 1000 rounds.

I believe the website is www.ar15.co It's a local colorado AR15 owners forum. I can't access it from work otherwise I'd verify the address. Good people there!
