New Toy in the Hizzouse

Well I steered away from the original intent of the ruger 10-22, in fact I steered away fromt he 22 completly. I decided to go witht he .17 HMR

I went to megasports and picked up a Savage 93r17 After looking over the balistics charts and comparing the 17 to the 22 I had made up my mind.

Of course had to go with the RealTree camo color scheme with matching Scope.

So with ot further Adu, here she is.

HDTony.... Damn glad to meet you!

All of the above. I am looking into joining the IL state Rifle assocoiation. they have some nice long ranges down in Kankakee plus you pay by the year for unlimited use.

and of course if a squirel or rabbit happens to run past my sites its going down

I was talking to a guy at a shop in wilmington, who uses this same gun hunting Cyotes as well. Seemed a little far fetched to me but when he showed me the pics of the squirels he got with it, I began to believe him.

yup the 17 is awesome, at first it didnt make sence to me until I actully looked at one of the rounds and saw what it really was. Then it all became clear.

They got another one up there just like it only $199.00

Its a Nikon 6307 4x32 in the hardwoods green realtree camo, it matches the gun exactly.
