Yeah, I saw this the other day... How about that guy that is wounded, and you can see him crawling trying to get away. And then, out the sky rains huge ass bullets! That would really ruin your day huh?

Actually Hawkeye they could not hear the apache. They were probably a GOOD distance away. Did you see the fat guys heat signature through the FLIR when he was walkingback to the truck before getting blown away? Then after getting blown away how large of an area had a heat sig.

The guy that was wounded was not being shot at. He would have been picked up by us for medical attention but the poor bastard just happened to roll in front of the next T.O.O. (target of opportunity)

DAMN THE BAD LUCK!

Kelly is right. You really can't hear an Apache at a distance. When they get closer they make a growling sound. Nothing like the Hueys during the Vietnam war.

Also, the gun on an Apache is not a .50 cal. Its a 30mm chain gun. .50 cals (aka Browning M2) are not normall mounted on US helicopters. But we do have them on the Abrams, Bradleys, Avengers, and almost any vehicle with a turret mount.

Never a bad time to climb... unless the weather is really horrible, and then you climb inside!

Note to self, when my buddy gets 15 holes the size of golf balls blown threw him in a matter of a couple seconds, quickly get behind the biggest thing nearby and DON'T MOVE!! They were waiting on his ass for a little bit, he should of just "laid low".

seriously. I would have played dead and hoped that my head signature be noticed. unfortunately me pissing myself would definitely put off a bigger heat signature.

Maybe pissing yourself would be mistaken for a puddle of fresh blood.
Note to self, after my buddy goes down (as mentioned before), if I haven't already, piss my pants.....What?!? its an advanced defense mechanism
