Bird Hunting Trip 2/29/04 ! !

Lets pick a date.

Sunday February 29th?

If we want to go back to the Old Goat Bird Farm in Gardner I think hes always booked on Saturday mornings with a training club. That Sunday would be best for me anyway.

Who's interested and does that date work for you?

I think the cost would be $100 for 4 birds. If we have more than 4 guys we'll need another pooch so the cost would probably go up by $10 or so.

Me
Ken
Ofc. Ponch
Kelly ???
Rick ???
Anyone else ???

you want a nice classy gun go get a nice over/under if its for bird hunting only.

Or go get a reliable bird gun..if you like the sport enough you can always upgrade to what you REALLY want next year.

Date sounds good to me, but I'll have to check and confirm with the spousal unit.

Ken,

A nice over and under shotgun. Mike's is a great field gun, he doesn't need to worry about it, mine on the other hand, and you have seen it, is not a field gun, but I love it in the field, especially on crossing long shots, swings very nice. I also love the gold inlayed quail, flushing then turning into clays, which then are broken. The gun was a birthday gift from my wife. If you need a good bird gun, I can rummage thru my safe and find something for you to use After all the sign above the safe reads "Shotguns'R ME!!"

Tony,

Only squids in the gun world use auto loaders for skeet Your more than welcome to use my sporting clays gun for skeet. And although I wasn't watching you shoot skeet, I can almost guarentee you were "short stroking" your pump action. And if I catch you calling "pull" with the gun mounted to you shoulder, I'll smack you You call "pull" and then mount the gun.

Rick

WTF happened For months I would never get notification that someone replied to a thread, yes I'm on AOL now all of a sudden I get notifications that you replied to the the thread, did you change something? or did AOL change?
