Bird Hunt 3-20-04

Guys/Gals, Im planning a hunt at the Fortino Hunt Club in Odell on March 20th. in the A.M.

www.fortinohuntclub.com

Its $65 for 4 pheasants. Another guide/dog is an additional cost obviously. The cover is mainly tall grass, some fields are tougher and some are easier from what they tell me. They could handle up to 6 guys in a field together if needed. They hunt about 640 acres.

I need to know ASAP who wants in on this. Im calling this week to book it.

The list:
1)Me
2)Ken
3)Tony
4)Ofc. Ponch
5)Kelly
6)Brian
7)???

Is this the original club? that price sounds really good.

This is that new place in Odell. Its cheap because they close the end of March and like to get rid of as many of their birds as they can so they dont have to feed them all summer. I would hope that if these birds were raised last summer and Fall they would be good mature birds..but Ive been wrong before so....

I know its another new place but I guess I like to try new places...kind of like restaurants. Always somewhere new to try

Im going regardless so I thought I would open it up to you guys also

Yup, The Gun Shop. And no, no dog sorry. I'm used to walking and kicking up my birds. I love hunting with dogs it's so much easier but I don't mind having to work either.
