Gander Mountain needs people who KNOW what they are talking about.

Anyone else have a feeling their firearms dept has no frickken clue? One of their guys (older guy no less) tried to tell me you cant hunt in WI with a shotgun that has a pistol grip (regular stock but with a pistol grip attached and non folding). Really funny thing is, theres nothing saying that its illegal in the WI statutes or in the DNR's hunting regs saying you cant use it. Really is funny since my Mossy's OEM stock is too damn long for me and the youth is too damn short. The Chocote (sp?) pistol grip stock is the right length. I guess the Savage 308 with the Dragenov sniper stock they have there is illegal too then....

Maybe. But we are getting 2 Dick's Sporting Goods stores in Madison. Full line of ALL sports including hunting. Gander Mt in Madison is beside themselves since they will be a snowballs throw from the new Dicks when it opens (better prices than Gander).

Down here Gander's gun dept dwarfs Dick's sporting goods. Last time I was at Gander in geneva they had littery 100's of long guns on display, Dick's had literally 20.

HDTony.... Damn glad to meet you!

Government's view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it.
