My over/under is a Stoeger Brian. I like it with an exception..not the guns fault. Its been a good gun so far. That autoloader uses many of the same internals as the Benelli's. Same company.

Ive seen a couple of those used at www.duckhunter.net in the classifieds. They can be had for a good price too..youre right

Damn that is nice. I've been wanting one of the new Benelli's I was watching american shooter last night and they did a thing on that new autoloading mechanism. Looks very nice.

Some folks just need the Tim Taylor of everything and nothing else will satisfy. Thats not a slap at them but its reality.

Thats a damn fine gun and a great bang for the buck. It will last you a lifetime. If you were a hardcore h20fowler that hunted 100 days a year with it you would probably choose something else...not sure why I even say that now that I think about it.

Are the shotguns that cost 3-4 grand that much better than a $400 gun? I think not.

Especially for carrying around a field hunting in the winter. I could see using one of those 2ooo dollar guns maybe at the skeet club once in a while, but for hunting I'm not spending mor than 500 bucks on a shotgun. Engraving and nice wood does nopthing to make you a better shooter.

For the money it is a very good gun. You have a very solid firearm.
You don't get flashy wood or hand honed triggers but you do get a gun thats going to be on the money every shot and relaible in the field.

Thats like saying is a Lexus much better than a Ford.........YES.
But not everyone can afford it. Do they both serve the same purpose....YES!
But don't say they're the same, that's just not right.

And yes Tony, My crazy ass would lug around a $5K gun in the field! I'm just crazy like that!
