Just a couple of questions

1-do they make 20 ga. low brass shot shells? Ive never really looked for them but I was shooting yesterday with my kid and he was complaining the regular 20's were hurting his shoulder.

2- what does *dr. eq. or dram. eq.* mean on the box of shot shells? I ve never paid much attention to it.

Answer Number 1. I have not seen low brass on shotgun shells for years.

Number 2. The amout of load(gunpower) in that round the higher the DRAM the more power. The more it hurts!!

I shoot low brass from my 12 ga. all the time for clays. Just never looked for them for a 20 ga.

Thanks

Mike,

I'm pretty sure he's not mounting the gun to his shoulder properly, and he's not "stepping" into the shot. I'll check around, but I'm almost positive GATT Guns has low brass for 20's. Okay back from a trip to the gun safe, yes, Winchester AA 20 gauge, 2 3/4, 2 1/2 dr. eq, 7/8 oz. AA208 8 shot, target load, low brass. But I can guarentee, almost 100%, that he's not mounting the gun properly and not stepping into the shot. If you can find the shot, PM me and I give you a box of mine, this stuff has to be at least 13 years old, I had forgotten I even had a 20 in the safe
