Tony...relief for your shoulder

Hey Tony,

Saturday I tried a couple of things that I think really made a difference.

First off...shooting more often seems to build a decent tolerance. I didn't think it would make too much difference but I put twice as many rounds through my gun this week and was not even the slightest bit soar.

Secondly rounds....I left the high brass game loads at home this time. I brought some Winchester AA target rounds 2 3/4, 1oz, #7 1/2. I also went to Walmart and got some Winchester Universal 2 3/4, 1 1/8 oz #8. Both were much nicer than the game loads. I believe the AA's were probably the best as far as easily tagging the clay. It must have a better spread or something because it is a higher quality round. Although the Universal rounds were definitely easy to live with and had much less of a kick even though they were 1/8oz heavier. Ponch was there and cut one apart for us and showed us it was probably the quality of powder that made it kick less. One out a hundred rounds jammed up my gun though. The jacket is lower quality than the AA's and it seemed the one that jammed was a bit out of shape. I suppose I can live with that given it made shooting over 100 rounds saturday enjoyable and pain free. The Universal rounds came in a box of 100 at Walmart for $14 and change, AA's came in a box of 25 for $4.99 per at both Megasports (on sale last week) and Walmart.

Anyway, thought that might help you out some.

Where do you guys shoot at?

I shoot at a place in Mokena occasionally, haven't been in a couple months, but they have a decent 5-stand, 3 Traps, and a skeet field.
