Yeh I saw that one on the Ruger website I think...go nutz

I was trying to keep it inexpensive, just remember all that shit adds up quick and it's not going to be that much better or funner than the regular 10/22.

I just ordered a couple Steel Lips 25 round mags...they aren't cheap either...ouch!

Get ready to spend $60 a magazine for the good ones.

hey ill buy the crappy ones off you for a song if you want to sell them...or should i share a tip i found?
OH OK.

do not take them apart!....use carbuator cleaner spray..and spray them inside and out...shake all that crap out..and hit it with a air hose..once to TOTALLY dry....on the inside..on each side of the slide...drop a couple drops of gun oil...and i think there s pivot spot on the side of the mag..there too...let it sit over night and bam..this had had the same problem with them, and hasnt had a problem in a long time..dont forget most 22 ammo is dirty and blows back some carbon in the mag.

so hopefully that works for your spares.

also too UH UH..going to target barrel (bull barrel) more consistant grouping, less heat build up, = more accurate then the stock barrel for same amount of repeated shots.
better crowning on the tip,= more accuracy, less recoil= more follow up shots more accuratly, and etc, etc, etc,.

trust me bro..that stock was fucken cheap fun, and FUN non the less...i kinda just like this stock, feels really comfortable even free hand...plus too the barrel is a mid range between the stock and bull so you kinda get best of both worlds...lighter then the bull more accruate then the stock forend., also too a TOUCH lighter trigger pull. and a rail comes on it already.

so that kinda sums it up....non the less sweet looking peice isnt it?
and your gonna shit a brick i found the stock with syn stock and s/s barrel for 185 i think it was i know doesnt it figure

ill proably pick this up in a week..still shopping for all the goodies...plus i wanna REALLY find out the advantage of a muzzel break

You've been a busy little bee haven't you?

$185 WTF...where? I looked everywhere....I checked my receipt $219. Do you have to pay for shipping and the FFL fee?

I could have spent a ton more on the TZ or the bull barrel, or a 12x scope, but shit, this is for fun/plinking. It suits my purposes just fine. I'm not going to start shooting competivlly. I know how you are and when you do something you go all out. That's cool...must be why you have a ton of cool shit laying around your house.

I'm keeping the Ruger 10 shots mags...they are supposed to be the best. I also found an article about cleaning them...

hahaha...yeah i guess i go alittle nuts..i was going to get a 12 zoom normal busnell like 100 bucks...then i say this 12 for like 140..but then i looked threw the elite busnell and MAN the clearity of it was freaking assome! it was a 9 zoom btw.
so i think i might get that 1....was like 210.00 funny thing i havent found it cheaper on line, which is weird.

also too...i shit you not i could have swore it was like 175 or 185 for it..and it was at mega!! imagine that!

magazines were about 20 bucks 10 shooters, and seem pretty normal priced stuff..but when i saw the same model you had i was huh..he is gonna be pissed i know i would..i hate that shit.

anyway...i am down to getting this model (cause i liked the looks and feel and the balance..even free hand) i am thinking the bushnell elite 9zoom but i cant decide...silver finish , or matt black, or gloss, and what kind of holders for it..same option in colors.

what ya think would look tits?...silver scoupe with black rings?
or silver rings..also too the barrel finsh in silver doesnt really match the barrel but is close.

The Ruger 10 shot mags I bought were $10.99 at Bass Pro....cheaper than most online stores that wanted $15. My Ruger better not be $185 at Mega cause those bastages quoted me $225 or something like that and every online store was at least $215 plus shipping and FFL fees. Enough about that ...did I mention I saw your Brigadier in stainless for $350 at Midwest Guns?

As far as scope color I would go silver rings and scope. I assume the TZ comes with a silver rail like mine did. That may be too much silver for you but that's my favorite color (Silver F4i, RC51)

Second choice assuming a silver rail: silver rings with a black scope.

well scratch this whole idea...about .22 fun.

instead i am going to have a custom made 308 tactical professional sniper rifle made for me..the kind they use in special opps..and yes if i ever get so good with a steady hand...1500 meters is withien a makable shot for
(this) sniper rifle and scope.

so dont count on me getting it any really soon might take 4 months to make and about 4000.00 to pay for.

and yes i did say 1500meters...(if you know your shit) but even my dorky ass would be able to do a 600 yard shot no problem i guess with some pratice.

i know, i know...i am nuts

WTF are you smoking?.....what happened to cheap shooting fun....
Remember the whole $10 for 600 rounds theme?

$4000 is a track bike that you NEED, not a rifle that can go through houses.

You must have talked to Bill

hey john check it out, i bought this 42mm red dot and also this bushnell trophy 4-12x40 and some nice quick disconects from leopould ($$) when ever you take the scope off it returns it to zero.

i got the scope mounted today, and MAN am i happy with it optics!

like i said got it for 185 to the door, instead of 200.00 plus tax.

i like it so much i am gonna order another JUST incase when you look threw this, your gonna be like HELL yeah. so if ya wanna buy it off me or not its cool, it doesnt matter its so good i will stick it on the next RIFLE (not a rimfire 22...lol)

yeah those are ok, but you can also make that same weapon out of parts, the only thing is the reciver, so just got buy a junk ass 50 bmg rifle, and junk it all but the parts.
and you can custom build everything up from there.

well if anyone gives a rats ass

i gotta get a sniper book, to keep track of all this yardage tuning, but at 13 yards, i am shot per shot touching if not in the same hole, at 25 yards i am shooting asprin, 8 for 10 not bad, and one of the ones i missed had a SMALL nick in it from the bullete but its still a miss.

i got a nack for this shit, and its SO fun to shoot!

Ex-Marine sniper

Having fun. I was a scout/sniper in the marine corp. My best shots were over 1100 meters. I use to have own a semi -auto .50 cal sniper rifle. I shot a match semi-auto buaer. It like a m-16. It has a floating barrel and It a 5.56cal ammo. What range you go to.

this is the first time i have EVER owned a rifle, and my longest shot was a 100 yards with a 308, which i was 2 inchs from my target, closet i got was 1 inch. but i WILL get better.
it pissed me off that i sucked that bad cause you know dam well what would happen father out missing it by that much @100 yards.

i am anal about my shooting skills and i am great with small arms, a buddy of mine was a sniper in the army too. now he knows his shit and is TIGHT with his long run skills!

but i wanted to get something cheap for now, so far almost a 1000 into this 22....lol but i cant help my self i am a tweaker!

yesterday, ive spent more time with it, got like 350 rounds threw it so far, and everytime i shoot i am getting better at nailing my target, with my buddys help in teaching me, breathing technics, and so forth.

after a while, once i out grow this range and push the limit, and learn my dope dialing and get my sniper book down, to hit targets 1st shot at what ever range, then i would say its time to move up to a 308 lapuol (sp?)

What kind of accuracy did you have at that range? That's F-ing 3/4 of a mile. Cool shit.

depends on the round but if it was a 50 cal, and he was a GOOD shooter, probably +/- 2-4 inchs.
