.... Basically a street sweeper.. yea? THey used to sell them (in semi-auto) at Fetlas back in the day
Love Future Weapons

Not that we follow rules... but doesn't the Shotgun break the Hague Convention?

(ie.. no soft point or scatter weapons in war...)

Let me guess... The "Iraq War" isn't a "War" so it doesn't count.. Right?

Vietnam wasnt either.. Don't you wish we could do whatever and then just play the semantics game later...

Police: "Hey quit robbing that liquer [email protected]!"
Me: "I'm not, I am liberating it"
Police: "oh.. well in that case.. go ahead then"

Why do I get the feeling they'd shoot me with their shotgun ?

Unless you have an FFL you cant buy a full auto shotgun...
It would have to be a dealer post sample.. Meaning you couldn't own it...
The only transferrable machine funs are prebans (IE built before 1986)
I could be off by a year or two...

THere is transferrable - preban and amnesty'd
there are pre-samples - pre-ban but not amnesty.. you have to be an ffl to buy, but it you let it lapse you can keep..
and then there are post sample.. post 86 guns .. you have to be an FFL to buy, and if you ever stop being an FFL you have to sell to another FFL or destroy
the penalties are very very very harsh on this stuff...

sample guns are MUCH cheaper than transferrables for this reason

I have some friends who are FFL's
PM me if you want me to find out what dealer cost etc is on something like this.. That said.. you can do your own research on those laws.. I am sure I oversimplified a bit

Isn't goose and duck hunting the reason why shotguns all come limited to x shots? I don't hunt.. but I know most shotguns can fit more rounds than they do.. but they have stoppers in so they dont? I thought it had something to do with game rules... no?

Yes, you are limited to a maximum of 3 shots before having to reload for foul hunting. My shotgun came with a stopper to limit it to only allow 3 shots in the 8 shot tube. Pulled out the stopper and all is well.

We have our own range and can shoot whatever we want to.

So do my friends (i have only *shot* at KCR one time.. because they let us have free range time..) other than that it was always at a friends house who lives near the range and has a huge range of his own.. (i have posted pics and vids here before.. that's all his yard) We also have a "range" closer.. I have only been there once.. it's less a range and more maybe 500 or 600 acres they bought to shoot, ride quads, ,.... just do whatever on...

In any case.. How does that make you not bound by the same fed firearm laws unless your private range is in another country?

If you get caught with a non-transferrable FA.. or a FA that isn't properly licensed its 10 years and 100k (the former would probably hurt a bit more than the latter) ...

Not trying to pick.. Just curious...
