Ruger has a new pocket gun Video

Not out until March but I ordered 3 of them (1 for me, 1 for the wife and a spare for me , same as the Kel Tec but made to last forever by a more reputable company. Good interactive video, and a good bike gun for traveling if your so inclined.

MSRP is $330.00 but you'll find them 4 a bit less I'll bet. I always carry but am permitted to do so. The only thing I fear when carrying is going into Wisconsin, those pricks don't care who you are or where you work. I was in a car that was stopped and a guy from CPD was arrested for CC his off duty. Outcome was they let him go after all the bullshit paperwork.

+1

on rare occasions though it's worth taking the chance. Sometimes the choice of possibly fighting a felony charge in court or being killed is an easy choice to make.

Especially considering some of the areas my company sends me to work. Working in Gary IN or the the south side in the middle of the night in a manhole splicing cable with a truck full of tools makes you a sitting duck.

this state sucks!!!

I always wondered about carrying. If the gun is in a case, unloaded, couldn't you carry it almost anywhere? I read awhile ago about someone doing that and fanny-packs for this purpose becoming popular.

That guy was a whack job, he was trying to skirt a loop hole in the law, try that one and you'll get arrested.

How can I legally transport my firearm in my Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV), pickup truck, van,
station wagon, or even a motorcycle?

The surest way is to have the firearm unloaded and enclosed in a case and to make sure your FOID card is valid.

Right. And it even says you can have the amunition in the case.

From reading that it seems like if the gun is unloaded and in a case, you're legal. Of course it comes down to the cop stopping you and deciding what your intent is...

Then it also comes down to the definition of unloaded. is unloaded he clip out of the gun, or is unloaded the clip out of the gun and the bullets out of the clip? technicalities, get you years of ass raping, just make sure your the pitcher

that definition changes as mayor Dailey pulls up in a limo and puts a bullet in the chamber for you as he orders his chronies to arrest you

Great link.

There is nothing firm, nothing balanced, nothing durable in all the universe. Nothing remains in its original state, each day, each hour, each moment, there is change. Change is the essence of life. Embrace change as you do life. To fight change is to live in the past.
