Chicago Police to get M4's

http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/l...,2104512.story

Daley - Mr Anti Gun wants to buy 13,000 assault rifles..wouldnt it be ironic if he bought them from a IL based Co. like RRA ?

I hope they at least really deck out the new toys

+1 Downforce. Possession of any types of guns in Chicago is ILLEGAL, therefore creating a gun-free utopia. Cops shouldn't need any guns at all because banning guns has clearly worked.

Unfortunately very, very true.

Americans have become so domesticated and docile, they wouldn't know what a revolution was if and when it was truly *needed*.

I realize I say that as if I'm not an American...I guess subconsciously I feel that I'm a patriot, and typical Americans are no longer patriots. But Patriots are real Americans.

But WTF do I know. I was born in the wrong century.

I'd love to see that. I'd buy another RRA or 2 just on principle. (I do want one of their 1911s to go w/ the M4gery I have now)

Barrett stopped selling to the Cali gov, which is why I will be buying a Barrett someday. I have no use for a .50 rifle, but damn it'd be fun and I'd feel good knowing 1. I've got the baddest muthafuckin rifle on the block, and 2. I'd be supporting one of the most stand-up mfers. in the industry.

Yeah. He knows better, and is deliberately making it sound 'scary' to take advantage of all the ignorant morons. The sad part is, there are plenty of ignorant morons who will take it, hook, line and sinker.

Would be great is ALL manufacturers started doing this. If a city's mayor/maganger wants to sue gunmakers over criminals behaviours. Well maybe the manufacturers could just say, "Well no more firearms made by us will be sold to you and we'll be contacting our dealers NOT to sell anything to you.". Wonder how long before the police start telling mayors to shut the fuck up.

.50 ammo can be found for $.50 a round at large gun shows. I highly recommend the one in Indianapolis.
