I used to but my .40 ammo at the walmart on 83 for practice. it was $20 for a box of 100 (abut $10 cheaper than most) but then they raised their prices to about $29 which is about $1 cheaper

Probably a case, plan on going to the range a few times and would like to have some left over for a hunting trip in December.

Southern IL white tail are dumb. You don't need a case of slugs to get in the mode. A couple boxes are more than enough. Frankly, all you need is a flashlight and a .22 in a cornfield.

Walmart used to have 200 count boxes of upland bird loads for dirt cheap this time of year.

There is nothing firm, nothing balanced, nothing durable in all the universe. Nothing remains in its original state, each day, each hour, each moment, there is change. Change is the essence of life. Embrace change as you do life. To fight change is to live in the past.

This will be my first hunting trip, few buddies of mine went there before, this time I am joining them. We'll see how it goes.

I'd like to get Sabots. We are planning a trip or two to the range before the hunting trip and will be spliting a case between a few guys. While at the range we'll shoot some clay pigeons as well so will need to get some shots too.
