My next rifle!

http://www.msarinc.com/stg556_sporting.html

I've wanted an AUG forever. Now that there's a domestic mfr., I'll be able to get one for less than an armand a leg!

Microtech makes some VERY nice knives. I feel confident that they would transfer that commitment to quality to the firearms side.

Oh yeah... I've drooled over them for the longest time. Megasports has a couple. I've fondled them once or twice.

Also, if I was a betting man and IF there was another AWB this would be very high on the list. To me that equals a good investment.

And since you live in IN the FA sears for these, IIRC, are in the $10K to $13.5K range. Another fantastic investment. Hehe... >:-O

thats what I was thinking too. I even had the idea to sell my 675 to fund gu purchases while I can.I can always get a new track bike in the future, but I might not be able to get some of the firearms I really want.

WOW, they really ripped off Styer's design. Shown below.

I never liked them because of design, price was always high on the originals also.

So then .223 I have seen the steyers go for as high as $7000.00 and the black ones command an even higher price.

How much is that clone in the first link?

I don't have any long guns...I'm hesitant to get one till I know where I can take it out to practice. Plus I hear making good rounds on the bullet press takes some skill/practice.

Just a little info,

According to SAAMI the external cartridge dimensions of .223 Remington and 5.56x45mm are similar although the .223 Remington was built to SAAMI specifications and is rated to 50,000 CUP maximum pressure, and has a shorter throat. The 5.56x45mm was built to NATO specifications and is rated to 60,000 CUP maximum pressure and has a longer throat and was optimized to shoot a longer projectile. And while shooting the .223 Remington in a 5.56x45mm chamber is normally acceptable, trying to shoot 5.56x45mm in a .223 Remington chamber is not and could cause a failure or worse.

yep, thats why I never got an AUG. They were banned from import by Bush Sr, so there's a very limited number available. Supply and demand.

The microtech improved AUG clones (they have a few features the AUG doesn't) go for 1600-1800.

yep, thats why I was said 5.56. Typically, these types of rifles are all built to 5.56 chamber pressure specs.

Gotta love the 7.62 punch.

My next rifle is going to be an HK91. I am considering selling or trading my sig 556 swat for one. Prices on non-safe queen models have dropped a fair amount recently. I love the sig but I'd rather not have to "stock" another round.

Wicked pieces, I shot one some months back and it was incredibly smooth (20 inch barrel) and well put together.

My next big rifle will be the FS2000 though... yum.

Look familiar to anyone else?

Mmmmm, FS2000. Another bull pup on the short list. FN has some really cool stuff out. Hoping they get the SCAR out to the civilian market before...

And I have to admit, I searched the bottom one to find out what it was. Lol. I'm bored at work today!!

Yeah they do. my next pistol will be either a high end 1911 or a Five-seveN (along with reloading dies to make non-nuetered ammo)

I'd also love a real P90. That thing is all kinds of awesome. The PS90 is pretty cool too.

The one on the bottom however is the Battle Rifle in Halo 3. So unfortunately, until the Covenant decide to invade Earth again, the FS2000 will probably have to suffice.
