Got to shoot it this Sunday, first time shooting an AK, Its a decent gun but the sites are horrible, maybe cause i just hate iron sites, need to pick up something better.

It's an AK, who needs sights. Just hip shoot and scream till all are dead. Reload and repeat.

is that a WASR 10? I've found the sights on mine to be more of just a guide as to roughly where the round should go.

AK and accuracy. BWAHAHA

Great weapon, shoots in any condition, deadly at moderate range and lots of fun to shoot, but... good sites and accurate?

Oh yeah, enjoy!!!

Just leave the iron sites on it and take it to Buffalo. that thing is perfect for "the pit"

get an AR for the range.

Nice!

There are accurate AK's out there, like a Krebs custom build, but those are just as costly as an AR. Remember, ol' Mikhail designed a weapon for an illterate Russian peasant. marksmanship or maintenance skill were were not part of the design parameters.

Did you know the designer now owns a Vodka company? Kalashnikov Vodka.

The AK makes the Mini-14 look like a bench rest rifle.

Makes a great SHTF weapon though. Cheap ammo, available in all dirty backwater countries.

perhaps i should have been more clear, this is an AK-M. (egypt bulit) NOT an SKS, an SKS uses a different style body and would be a little hard to made look like an AK.

saying AK is like saying Kleenex. there are tons of clones and knock offs, but they all share the same design. I've got a romanian clone, same mags, same parts. Not a true AK, but good enough for me.
