Reason why people think people who hunt with AR's are Gomers..

This is the kind of assholes that piss me off.

On another board (wi section of it) they sit and try to find any loophole in DNR hunting regs (they say they arent valid firearm laws) and WI firearm regs to justify using SBR's, autos and now they are bitching about using laser sights. Jesus fucking christ quit making anyone that uses an AR to hunt with look like a fucking gomer and just follow the simple fucking dnr hunting regs.
Rifles MUST have a 16" barrel, shotguns 18". I dont care that SBR's are legal in WI, but they arent for hunting.
If you need full auto to hunt, then you shouldnt be out hunting anyways. Go out and learn to shoot.
Laser is a light source and using light sources to hunt is shining, hence ILLEGAL.

Sooner or later a couple of these morons are gonna get a law passed here that bans anyone from using AR's, AK's, etc for hunting trying to skirt the laws.

Although i just got my AR, I wold like to take it hunting one day. It would be a shame if a law was passed before I could do that.
Ofcourse it's only .223 so there's not to much I can hunt around here but that is not the point.

I hunt deer with mine. Just gotta be a little more accurate with shoulder shots. Also usefull with coyotes & rabbits.

Told one guy just use a 16" carbine and you wont have to worry about wardens. Then one asshole told me "You should refrain from posting". Replied to him "Well you should refrain from breathing". needless to say teh post got locked. Freaking mouth breathers.

I'm having a brain cramp, I'm almost positive you can't hunt anything in Illinois with a rifle Only shotgun, black powder or bow The only time I hunted in Wisconsin, every maroon was shooting at anything that moved. Personal belief, anyone hunting with a military rifle is a maroon, what the hell do you need a semi-auto for when deer hunting Whats next 20MM AA guns for goose hunting?

Sometimes goodbye is your second chance.

Problem is Rick, A mauser M98 is a military rifle, enfield .303, Rem700 and numberous other bolt actions are military rifles in basis. I do a lot of walking through heavy scrub to kick up deer. Makes my .300win mag scope only rifle pretty useless. My ar is my short range, dont wory about banging it on branches or getting it dirty rifle.

Yeah we get morons who shoot at anything, but for most part, those are city folks who think they are outdoorsmans. One reason I wonder why my brother bought land up north instead of west of here. Too many city people show up. Most of which have no common sense.

I have nothing to add to this thread aside from the fact that you managed to misspell MORON twice.
