Stag Arms Backlog

From the blog of a friend, who runs a shop:

"... [placed] a call to Stag Arms to order an AR-15 for a customer. Fifteen to twenty weeks. Some of their wholesalers may get some sooner and I was told I may wanna order from them.

One more note of interest with Stag - they no longer sell AR receivers with a letter saying the receiver was never used on a rifle and can therefore be built as a pistol. “Too much paperwork” I was told. Hmmmm."

What's the point of making an AR "pistol" besides to piss off the anti-gun-folks?

That is interesting about the AR pistol thing....do they mark the receiver as "only to be used as a pistol" like RRA does?

I think a "pistol" based in the AR platform makes sense, but only in 9mm or the big bore conversions that are available. An AR pistol in .50 Beowulf would make for an interesting conversation piece!

Hhaha, A .50 B would be fun! But I've always been a fan of the .440 Corbon.
