this was my first year hunting and superspud did an excellent job schooling me , i took out a big doe at aprox 150 yards opening day, had the opportunity to take out a 6 point buck not more than 45 seconds later at 50 ft, but passed.
the following weekend (ok, thanksgiving day... EARLY) R6 chic joined us. we got to keep the spoils of the drive as long as we were willing to gut them. Who would have thought field dressing could be so entertaining

congrats on the deer!

btw - that deer should be tagged before its moved-you could be fined and have your deer and gear confiscated for that. Just sayin..

I cut it's ear rolled the tag up and stuck it thru. We didn't have any string just yet so they were making it.

And now all I can think of is that one scene in Empire Strikes Back- "PHEW! And I thought they smelled bad on the outside!"

When the pepper spray runs out, can I have your number?
