Shooting at Rink's

It was a cold day at Rink's range. Went with some friends, and Brianne and I nabbed some photos. This was a couple weekends ago, but I'm only just now downloading the photos from my camera. It was uber-difficult to shoot at rinks, as they had like two tiny flourescent lights in the whole range...hell, it was so dark, I couldn't see what the problem was when one of the .22 Target Pistols Jammed! So I'm surprised these came out at all.

Peanut doing well with the .22 as usual.

And I made this fun little animated GIF of Brianne putting the Desert Eagle to use. It was surprisingly easy to handle...the .44 Mag is much nicer than the .50 AE! This GIF was JPGs from the Nikon D300 converted with Easy GIF Animator.

I used to go to Rink's on a regular basis but got tired of the black snots I had for 3 days. There is no way that place meets any kind of indoor pollution standards. Nice to see the lighting quality has not changed! Few years back I was shooting jacketed 9mm there and had two pieces of the jacket hit me two seperate times, made me question the backstop. They DO leave you alone there though.

BTW, what kind of pistol is that in the 5th picture on the right? Baby Eagle? Looks like CZ clone-ish of some sort.

Yeah, we had black snot that day and probably the next morning. And being a Sunday, almost all the bays were full.

They are inexpensive and charge by the day rather than by the hour, so as soon as I can get the bullet press in full swing, I'll be there more often.

Good eye! The pistol is a Baby Eagle .45 ACP in the purple Titanium color.

Ask to shoot on teh high side and don't forget you have the light switches directly behind you on the wall! They controll the the banks of lights on the range
