Yes you are hopelessly out of date. You need to re-read every last pearl of wisdom. By the time you finish that, you will only be 3 months out of date.

So... what triggered this?

There is nothing firm, nothing balanced, nothing durable in all the universe. Nothing remains in its original state, each day, each hour, each moment, there is change. Change is the essence of life. Embrace change as you do life. To fight change is to live in the past.

I'll bring you up to speed:

"Well, let's see. First the earth cooled. And then the dinosaurs came, but they got too big and fat, so they all died and they turned into oil. And then the Arabs came and they bought Mercedes Benzes. And Prince Charles started wearing all of Lady Di's clothes. I couldn't believe it. "

Finally I got a little tired of all the Johnny Come Lately's.

Welcome Back.

Sum it up.

.45, you got a Kimber, next in my opinion is a P220. this one gets the nod over the HK cause you already have one. If teh question was I'm only getting one .45 ever then the answer is HK

What do you mean platform? .223 or .308? I'm not understanding the question
