New toys! Michales Machines HK11e & HK Mark 23 (Pic heavy)

So with the current market for clones, specifically Vector, I thought it would be a good time to adjust my collection a bit. Here are the new additions:

HK11e built by Michael's Machines on a PTR 91 receiver. It has the reinforcement rails, factory new hammer forged chrome lined FMP HK21e quick change barrel, 1200 meter sights, Mike's reproduction HK21 club foot, and 2 stage heavy buffer.

HK Mark 23. Just as it came from the factory.

Wow, you don't fool around when it comes to firearms.

I wish I had the budget to afford gear of that level!

Thank you. I don't have a lot of firearms though, only 4. I just chose to concentrate on a few things I've always wanted.

for some reason im drawing a blank on my h&k tactical .45 as i know there was something on the slide and possably something on the frame but non of it was color and one would have to assume both the mark 23 and the tactical were well.... tactical.

i do know though that on the tactical there was no .45 on the grip like in the photo above.

Those were colored in, the MK23 and Tactical are sterile. Also the tactical has the same frams as a USP with the addition of an oertravel screw on the trigger Also other than being a smaller top end, the barrel threads on the MK23 and Tactical are iffrent. One threads right hand the other left hand

The one abve was Mfg in 2006, so it will also hve an internal trigger lock inside the mag well. Also, should have come in a hard plastic case not a nylon one

Very nice additions to the family! My buddy Mike's been trying to get his hands on a Mark23 for 3 years now. H&K only imports several hundred a year, so they're difficult to obtain.

You are correct. That is something the previous owner did. None of them came with colored letters.

Also correct. I believe it was 04 when they stopped with the nylon cases and added the trigger lock.

There are a few of them floating around. I've seen them as low as $1700 NIB. Some fools trying for 2500 used. Mega has two consecutive serial number tan frames, AG date code (I think), for 2100 each. I'm sure if a collector walked in and offered 4K for the pair they may jump at it. Those have been in the case for a long time.
