Borrow an AR15 upper?

I've finished my lower but my upper is backordered a few months. Dying to try this thing out, anybody willing to let me borrow their upper for Sunday? Friend invited me out to shoot at his farm, probably put 50/100 rounds through it.

And so we're clear, I'm willing to deal a little bit here. I have some money or a Sig P229 i'd be willing to loan out some time to return the favor.

Couple hours west, literally the middle of nowhere. Pain in the ass to get to, but awesome for dirtbiking etc.
