HDTony.... Damn glad to meet you!

Government's view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it.

I saw that a few years ago. Cool toy. I wonder if they ever went into production?

There is nothing firm, nothing balanced, nothing durable in all the universe. Nothing remains in its original state, each day, each hour, each moment, there is change. Change is the essence of life. Embrace change as you do life. To fight change is to live in the past.

Very cool gadget. Very "bond-ish"!! lol.

I think that would be difficult for the ATF to classify. The MP5 briefcase is classified as an AOW (in semi auto form) but that's not used to shoulder fire. I'd guess this would be an SBR in which case if they did build it us poor sheeple in IL couldn't have one.

+1, remember seeing this, but could never find it again.

that thing is awesome!

technically, you could argue that it fits the IL statute for transporting a weapon

(iii) are unloaded and enclosed in a case, firearm carrying box, shipping box, or other container by a person who has been issued a currently valid Firearm Owner's Identification Card."
just barely squeezes by the first condition, as when it is collapsed, it is in a non-functioning state (and magazine is pulled out of barrel). hah!

now where's mine??

Well...except that he said it was a 'machine gun'..damn

nioce!!! For some reason I have been doing some reading on the FN forum and getting hooked on that round lately. Pretty impressive. I wish HK would bring something to the civilian market with their 4.6 by 30 round from the MP7. Both would need to be full power rounds, not the neutered crap generally available to civilians.

What round were you using? Did you shoot suppressed and un-suppressed? What kind of range? Any functioning issues suppressed? What kind of suppressor?

Some random guy was shooting next me had one (indoor range). He noticed that Heather was having a hard time with the 357 Sig/226 recoil so he let us fire the last few rounds he had. No idea which they were, but as quiet as the thing was, I suspect they were the subsonic variety. In fact, when he was firing in the next lane, I honestly thought he was shooting a pellet gun. I couldn't see because the divider wall.
The first round I fired didn't cycle the slide. I then fired off a few double-taps and it worked fine. Heather fired it and was hooked. She wants me to get a Five-seven now. (She hated the Sig, and I'm not sure I'm a fan either)
I fired an unsuppressed 5-7 a loooong time ago, so I can't compare really.
