To each their own. I don't like exposed hammers and holes drilled in the trigger. I like em utilitarian with a low part count and reliability. The less metal the better IMO.

Then again I don't like chromed out stretched Busas with clear clutch covers and NAWSSSSSSS.

Not digging the trigger but the rest of the gun I like. Looks wise its what I like and being a 1911 is also something I like really like.

edit- I should say im a big fan of the history of the 1911. Never owned or shot a gun personally.

You going with the Eclispse .45 or 10mm auto? Why the match version?

From what I understand, the G17 and the G22 will be the first 4th Gen guns to be released, followed shortly thereafter by compacts.

Aside from the replaceable grips, the grip stipling has changed which many folks are looking forward to.

There have been rumors for years of Glock doing this. I am not sure why they have yet to do it.

Do you like this? I fail to see the purpose. Just get a carbine.

I shot the 4th gen G17 in a few variations and suppresed. The units we had did NOT have changable straps that I could see. the stippling is diffrent, much stickier. We used gloves and bare handed and they felt great. The finger grooves recieved a reduction in depth and the slide serrations are different. the gun performed! I liked it so much I ordered one in 9mm.

Say what you want, when the zombies attack I'll have one of these in the kit. The glock is to guns what duck tape and vise grips are to mechs. simply put it is a must have
