I think I'm going to put together a custom ruger 10/22. I'm looking for a ruger 10/22 receiver and was wodering if any of you want to make some room in your closet.

If you're going to gut it and build up, keep an eye on Bass Pro, Cabela's, and Dick's to catch them when they are on sale. Typically, you can pick one up all day for $199. Sale prices are around $169.

If you check GunBroker.com, you might snag one older one that has the all metal trigger section and better finish for $150-$200.

I have a couple inexpensive target barrels if you want a cheap upgrade to a base model. I might part with my stainless polished Target barrel since I'm probably not going to do another Ruger build in 2010 (or so I say now).
