Who else hunts in here?

Does anyone else in here hunts birds? doves, pheasant etc?

If so, maybe we can hookup sometime and chase some birds.

Just curious

Used to hunt deer, before the track took up all my vacation time! My stepdad misses his "hunting partner".

Nothing like a good snipe hunt. No hunting recently, just killing paper.

Just clay birds.

Sporting clays and skeet. I must be getting old, but I just don't like dusting live game for sport anymore. Now poaching Bambi for grilling is another story, but I have friends that keep giving me more than I will bother eating.

Peasents make good for hunting but they are sooo sickly that it's not worth very much. And when you do get them it's not liek they are the healthiest beings to feed from... well.... ummm yes... hunting "animals" is very envigorating.

I hunt. I've done bear, deer, moose and most small game. My personal favorite is bow. I was back up man with a 44 for a friend who did a boar hunt with a spear!! Bill managed to kill a 400lbs boar with a spear, but in the process of dying it broke his jaw.

Ken,

Make sure you have a back up plan, Bill used a low tree stand about 5' off the ground, and jumped down on the boar with the spear, drove it right thru the boar, then as the brute was doing it's death dance, with Bill on it's back, the shaft of the spear hit him in the lower left jaw, and broke it. But man that pig was good eating

Deer hunting is the best. I just moved to Chicagoland area and just joined this little circus you guys got going here and I want to do some deer hunting up here. Strictly bow...that is it for me. Any suggestions of some hunting areas would be appreciated. I got some hunting area but they are 1 hr 45 min away.....anything closer anyone know about.

yeah rick, ill have my thigh rig with my 1911 TRP operator 45cal
if that doesnt stop him, i will break out the ol 12 gauge 3 inch magnum slugs, it will make a freaking mess but better me eating him then the other way around.

plus i am gonna let the bull charge me then anchor the spear into the ground, ill let you know if i didnt chicken out before shooting it to death. going in december.

i know it takes balls but ill see if i got them to stand there and hold this spear achored at some 700 pound bore, let alone a small one at 350 pounds.
