Gonna Do It!

Well, as some of you may know, I too am no longer with Comcast. With that said I have the abilty to make a complete career change and will be taking every oppertunity to make sure I land in teh field I WANT to be in. I have a few oppertunities coming in that REQUIRE me to be fit and not "white collar" fat.

I figured I would post up what I'm doing in order to get some feed back from everyone in order to get more information and overall just share my experiance.

Some back ground:

Starting weight: 230lbs
Height: 5'7"
Diet: Funny.... probaly over 3,000 calories per day. Easily drinking 5-6 cans of soda and eating everything under the sun

I started things on 3/2/10 and keep a general log of my day. Overall looking for weight loss, muscle strength and endurance. My biggest obstacle will be running. I'm looking to clock in at a 10min mile, to date I can go 8:00 @ .81 miles on my treadmill. While I'm not dead after this I am defiantly working! A lot of what I have done has been cold turkey, probably not the best way, but it's working so far.

I have cut outing eating for the most part and take Muscle Milk as a meal replacement along with Colon Clense, Jack3d, and Mega Man Sport vitamins. All this stuff is GNC stuff if you wann look it up and tell me what you think.

I'll come back later today and post what I've done in teh last 4 days for you to view.

Arrogance has to be earned.

Drop the GNC crap and muscle milk. Take it from someone who's tried it all, that stuff is worthless. Some of it will actually hurt your efforts by messing up your metabolism. Eat "real" food for nutrition. Start thinking of food as fuel instead of enjoyment. You can use muscle milk for after workout protein but don't replace meals with it.Keep going on the workouts/running. It will get better.

As a rule of thumb: Eat all your carbs before your workout. Eat only protein and vegies after. Go to bed hungry and get proper sleep

*there's a lot more too this like food quality (IE brown rice instead of long grain and whole wheat bread instead of white) but I could write a book!! If you have questions you have my number or just pm me

There are many ingredients composing semen, and its makeup is the same from man to man. Here are a few of the constituent elements: vitamin C, calcium, chlorine, cholesterol, citric acid, creatine, fructose, lactic acid, magnesium, nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, sodium, vitamin B12, and zinc.

Point is he's better off finding a good protein bar. I like Cliff's and Special K chocolate and peanut butter for after workouts. It's hard to find one that tastes good to you though. Alot taste like garbage!

Muscle Milk is acceptable for what it's meant to do- provide the muscles with what they need during/after workouts. In and of itself, it's not necessarily good as a meal replacement for a bloke looking to lose weight.

muscle milk is garbage.

There is a capital nutrition on 30 about 3/4 mile west of 41 in schererville. the dude there knows his shit and can get you pointed in the right direction. As already mentioned the proper way to fuel is by eating proper healthy food. I'm down 10-15lbs since mid January eating better and hitting the gym ~4hrs/week.

I used to be at taco bell probably twice a week, I've cut myself down to once a month and if I have to eat on the go I try to get subway or something like that. It's not the best but it's sure better than taco bell.

Muscle Milk is good for bulking only. For losing weight it is toxic. I put on 10lbs in 1.5 months while taking that shit. Taste so damn good too. BSN Syntha-6 is pretty good stuff to use as a meal replacement with lots of protein if you are looking to lose weight, trick is do not have it in addition to a meal or it is defeating the purpose. Of course eating a good meal is better though for weight loss.
Most over looked tip to lose weight........stop drinking pop. Even diet pop. Yep, dropped 8 lbs by just stopping diet pop. Something in that shit tricks your mind into storing fat. Also makes you hungry.

Yes, soda of any sort needs to be completely cut out of your diet if you seriously want to lose weight. It's evil. And it tastes gross.

Yup, but it did have sauce. Purdue Breasts, with a box meal. Still gotta cook with others in mind sometime. That's why I only had a small bowl. Everyone else had Garlic bread and all kinda other stuff.
