Adidas miCoach

Has anyone ever tried this?

It's twice the price of the Nike+ system (for me, anyway, since I would have to buy the foot pocket, wrist band, and transmitter) at $140, but it also has a heart rate monitor and it boasts better training/coaching programs for runners.
I'm thinking it's worth a try but I've not seen enough reviews and I don't know a single person who's even heard of it.

Never seen it until now, but looks pretty cool. I can monitor my HR pretty well when running, but the nike+ system give me min/mile which is really all I need right now. Get it and let us know how it is.

I can't tell if it has a display or not, or if I have to rely on the coach's "voice" to tell me pace. Like you, monitoring pace is the piece that matters most to me. For me, the next most important items are accuracy (pedometer vs GPS) and ability to meausre heart rate.

I can get a Suunto t4c GPS pack (including heart rate monitor) for about the same price on Amazon or eBay, and that's a far more accurate system (bc of the GPS). But then, I can't tell if that system displays pace, either. I need to go down to my local store and check the t4c out in person.

And, at around $140, is any of these systems much better than the Nike+ which does display pace and would run me only about $90 (or less, if I poked around on ebay).

Ok, I bought it and it arrived yesterday and did my first workout with it today. I'll do a write-up/review if anyone is interested but considering I have 3/4 of the posts in this thread I'm not going to write anything unless people post up and express interest.
