Who's doing it? Stop bullshitting, these are fun! And relatively short too.

Man, how about posting these with a few days to think about them?

That would be off road biking, wouldn't it?
Hum... I might need more trail time before I pull that off.

Sheeeit, I can't keep my schedules straight right now. I just decided to do this today. Naw, you'll be fine on the trail, as long as it's wide enough to fit sideways.

It's only $60, which seems to be pretty cheap for a tri these days. Do it!

4th age group, 13th overall out of 130, 3rd overall in the bike, and running was OK. 9 minute miles for a trail run, and there was a STEEP hill to climb too, so I guess not too bad. Missed beating Scott by 12 seconds for 3rd. That sucked.

Yo Ken, ran that Tri on sunday. Ended up 197 out of 352 lol Considering it was my first one, I'll take it. Thinking about doing one more before the end of the season. The one in Matoon over Labor Day weekend is looking good.

Nice work. What was your bike MPH? What running pace were you at? That is a pretty good result for your first one. Congrats.

I don't have a premier moto shop to finance my toys, so using a wet finger in the wind I would say I was at 15 mph average for the bike lol I screwed up my meals and ended up eating two steaks three hours before the tri and got super bad stomach cramps as I finished the bike. Couldn't breathe faster than a 10 minute mile pace for the run super pissed about that.

You tard, they should have results on their website and after the race too. They will break it down with place and pace to give you an idea of how you are doing compared to your competitors in each discipline. Yeah you need to plan your nutrition better for sure, but that is what comes with experience. I am still screwing things up, but I'm just an idiot.

Swim: 17th out of 18 in my age group lol
Bike: Avg 14.5 mph
Run: Avg 10.4 min per mile
Overall: 197th out of 352
Age Group: 14th out of 18

For my first one, I'll take it.

My meals totally screwed me. I ate two steaks three hours before and a full blender of blueberries, strawberries, and milk one hour before the race. My whole upper stomach area/diaphram cramped bad. It's still sore today.

No food in the 3 hours before your race. Have a healthy meal the night before, and something light the morning of the race but early enough to clear it from your system. I bet that totally screwed you up. Next time get that right and you should have a much better race.
