Anybody doing any Turkey Trots?

Or just eating til you explode? I plan on doing both. Signed up for the Batavia 4 mile race, and my kid is doing the Youth Mile. Then I'm gonna eat everything in sight.

Thinking about the Schuamburg Trot, but I haven't trained for shit and I hate running outside so it will likely end in failure.

Why not? It's close by me, and they give out tech shirts, hot chocolate, cookies, and they have a youth mile race for the kid. So there.

Yeah, and for that 15K I did we went shopping the rest of the day, and of course the wife couldn't walk a few blocks, so we had to pay for parking twice, over $50. I'm all for supporting my brick and mortar parking garages, but that is ridiculous.

Hadn't really thought about a pace. Originally I was planning to run slacker style with some peeps from work. But now that I know your doing it I may run the "make Ken hurl" pace! Lol

I'm not sure yet really. I'm much better at holding a steady speed for linger periods of time than running sprint speed at shorter distance. Plus I pulled a calf muscle on my tempo run yesterday. So I'm going to see how that heals. Hopefully I'll be around 7min miles or better.
