"Distance" stickers

So we all have seen the competition distance stickers on cars, like 13.1, 26.2, 70.3 and 140.6.

I proudly have 140.6 on my car.
Driving to the office today I was thinking, "You sure don't see many 26.2 sticker, more or less 70.3 and 140.6".
It made think about how few people ever will run a marathon.
The percentage of Americans that have is like 1% or less.

So I get closer to my office and see a car with a distance sticker on it.
I just about died laughing...
It was 3.1

Talk about celebrating mediocrity!

I wish my knees could handle a marathon. But I see those stickers (at Dick Ponds)

I used to race centuries on the bicycle all the time.

And if it were, would you still put one on, that said 3.1?

I hate the stickers that call out a kid's name and what activity/sport they are into. Why don't you just say "hi child sex predators. When you come to offer my kid candy, why don't you call her by her name and talk to her about volleyball and cheerleading, which she so clearly loves!"

Oh, and my distance sticker would be 1.1.

i hate the distance stickers.. same with hybrid cars that have "HYBRID" badges and stickers on every window and body panel.

i think people like to advertize they own a hybrid more than they actually like the car. just like those distance stickers.

how many marathon/tri winners put those stickers on there cars?

WTF is a truckster? Is it like a minivan but you can't bring yourself to admit it?
Before you answer, let me give my opinion (which I am sure you are dying to hear), which is something either IS, or IS NOT a truck. And if there is any question, it IS NOT.

Huh, so that's what those stickers are for. I always thought they were referring to some Bible verse.

This!

A guy at my gym has an IM tattoo...I guess that is something to be proud of, but he either did it a while ago or you cannot judge a book by its cover.
