REV3 70.3 Cedar Point Triathlon

Who's in? I think I will sign up for this one soon and make a short vacation out of it with the family. Maybe I can redeem myself for my terrible race in Racine. Scott will probably be in too. September 11th is the date.

It should be interesting. First 70.3 other than Racine, and first Rev3 race. Hopefully it will be cool. Did you sign up for Galena yet slacker?

Still on the fence. I'm still mentally defeated from the Racine disaster! I cant believe how mental this stuff is. My performance has turned down into the dumps lately. I need to give it a little more time and see how I pick up the pieces.

Yeah me too, but I get fired up when I fail at something. This race will not define me, I will define this race!

I don't think this race fills up. I've got another race between now and then. I want to see how I do and how I feel after before I make the call.

I just need to put everything together if I'm gonna do it, because of hotels, family, amusement park, etc. I want to put a line in the sand too, to keep me training for something solid.

You are nuts, good luck at this one. We have to get out on the mountain bikes before the year is over.

Do you work on Sunday? If I don't do the hare scramble, I will be looking to do a mountain bike ride instead.

Was looking at the site and this event looks like a blast since you can also make a mini vacay out of it. Cedar Park KILLS Great America in terms of roller coasters!!

Yep. We are probably gonna stay another couple days, one before and one after. Hopefully I can walk on Monday. They should have picked another chick for the advertisement though.

Fuck that! Maybe one day when I have the time to train, but talk about boring. Screw that. At least with the half I can go somewhat hard on each discipline. I'm not a big fan of pacing myself.

I don't think your competitors and people viewing the race will appreciate you getting hard in spandex...
