I wanted to do it this year, but conflicted with another spandex event. Next year I might plan on this and start in the elite wave for a competitive time. Looks fun.

Looks awesome.

I think the Elite wave is really the only one that doesn't have to wait at each obstacle. My buddy told me there is usually a backup at each stop.

We can all wear Chicago Performance shirts :P LOL

I'll sponsor the event with the proceeds a fund raiser provides! I think I could be pretty competitive at this next year.

So i assume youll be a real man and be doing this with a full 55Lb Ruck?

Now that is how the elite class should be.

That would be some good training for CP - give him a nice heavy ruck and then see how they do!

Some guys in my bootcamp class at work want to do this next year. i think its in Mn.

DO YOU WANT TO BE A BETTER DIRT OR MX RIDER OR LEARN TO RIDE DIRT?

Fuck that!

Here's my 55lbs ruck:

I had a medial sprain on my right ankle 3 days ago, healing up quickly thankfully but I'm just barely gonna finish this thing. It's gonna be a rough one.

Seriously. I want a full report afterwards. This looks so badass. One tip, take it easy on the sets of hill runs early on. You'll feel fresh, but they will zap your muscular endurance if you don't pace yourself. Good luck man. I would SO do a front flip off that 15 foot cliff jump.

Brianne did the Mudder yesterday as well. She can hardly walk today.

I'm sure she'll post about it later...she can't stop talking about it.

I'm feeling cheated out of a good race report. Unless of course anyone is actually fighting pneumonia or died in the race, then that would be an even better story. Get on it!

Don't expect an update from Brianne; she talked my ear off about how awesome it was, even though her team bailed on her and she went it alone. But she's too lazy to post anything apparently.
