Really didn't feel the run this morning. I'm still sick, and tired as hell. But as I say, "all the fast people are out training", and they were. I did it, but walked 3 separate times, and my HR was way higher than it usually is for an easy run. I got through it though, which is all that matters. +9

Forgot to mention, went to my kid's triathlon banquet tonight, and the guest speaker was Zach something or other, talking about his experiences being an ultra marathon runner. His typical WEEK of training was around 200-210 miles during peak season. He said he figured out he was slacking only doing 140-170 a week, then picked it up, and started winning the Badwater race and a bunch of other ones including one in Death Valley with 120 degree temps. Fuckin' nuts. By the way, his last 24 hour race (yeah straight, no breaks) he averaged 8 minute miles the entire time. I was cracking my table neighbors up by telling them I thought my last 5K felt like an eternity.

hmm... not sure about that. Only redeeming thing a triathlete has got going for them is cycling but it's cancelled out by the gay ass swimming and running. Then it's further gayed out by all the fucking gadgets and lycra. So it is gayer than a muthafucker!
